On what basis have the Rishi divided four Yugas. Normally it is understood that the yugas are a system through which the time is divided. That the whole time in which humans live on this planet, if those times are divided in parts, ie these four parts it's called yugas. We are concerned with humans because yugas are experienced by humans predominantly, the other creatures can’t understand this in a manner like a human does. In those four part the first part is called satya yug. Is it that in that yug there is only truth and truth alone, maybe not, maybe that yug also had imperfections.
