human does. In those four part the first part is called satya yug. Is it that in that yug there is only truth and truth alone, maybe not, maybe that yug also had imperfections. Then what is the satya or the time of truth, which is being talked about in that yug. Satya Yug is that time when we live amongst nature, in that manner in which nature has kept us. Where we give utmost importance to nature and living amidst it, we try to understand the essence of mother nature or prakriti for a better word. In this time a human being focuses deeply on his immaculacy, his purity, his consciousness and his lifestyle is, such that his prime focus or endeavor is to strive for prakriti (nature) , his natural tendencies and his discovery of truth in his life. In which the one truth is everything. So he does everything in such a manner, that in every action he is striving for the one truth. What is the truth of water, the keyboard , my truth and the truth of everything in and around us. All of these truths aren't different but are connected and are the same in all of it entirely, which has come from one source and that source brings it to light and gives it shape. this kind of experience and understanding, is used as the basis and every individual lives their life, then it is called as Satya Yug , now this one truth isn't the same as one exclusive truth claim of some ideology, which on calls religions of kalyug, rather this one truth is all inclusive and encompassing. This is the simplest definition of Satya Yug. let take an example to try to make you understand what Satya Yug is ?
Let us take the example of a tree, Think, on this tree or near its roots lies some insects, which eat the soil and leave a by product which makes the soil more fertile, and which is in turn becomes food for the tree, on which the insects resides, and the tree prospers or grow big, in this exchange the situation is win win for both the insects and the tree, both take care of each other, this is an example of Satya Yug. That is Satya Yug is that state of water, earth, space, fire and air, a state of time, in which any human, or creature or situation or thing or environment, can easily move towards the one inclusive all encompassing universal truth, So those insects are Satya yug cause they help the tree grow and prosper, by their action, it might be their fertile excreta or any other by product.
After Satya Yug comes Dwapar, here everything is two. Here with satya there is asatya too, that is with truth there is falsehood, and falsehood also gains strength in this state. Let us consider the above example of a tree, That is the Tree is infested with such insects which eat soil and make it fertile, and at the same time they also eat the tree. That is the insects by making the soil fertile, they help the tree grow, but then if time comes, the same organism also can eat the tree and make it hollow. In this situation the tree has become unwell because of these insects, but since they are making the soil fertile the tree can still survive and live. Now the tree is in an uncomfortable state, when all the five elements of our universe comes into this situation. Everything which is a product of these five elements, that is you, me, things around us, both visible and invisible powers, all are infested with this duality. Then, we call it dwapar yuga. Where satva and Tama, that is truth and falsehood, are present at the same time, in the same space, this duality is dwapar.
After this Dwapar, lets understand Treta yuga, here there is Truth and False but a person uses it as per his need. Let’s consider the example of a tree. When a tree is infested with such insects, who are eating the tree as well as eating the soil and making it fertile for the tree, but at the same time are digging deeper into the tree, making it hollow from inside. And while doing all of this, these insects have made an arrangement where the Tree is feeling pleasure, even when it is eaten by the same insects. that is the tree is being killed, but while doing so the insects feed the tree, so that the death can be slow and they are even giving the experience of pleasure to the tree. Here the tree isn’t able to decide, if these insects are beneficial, or harmful for the tree. The tree knows that these insects are harming it, yet it thinks that these insects are a necessity. They are its own part, but the truth is these insects aren’t part of the tree. But because these insects are giving pleasure to the tree. The Tree thinks they are its own integral parts and these integral parts, then slowly devours the entire healthy tree. It's like addiction. This kind of state is Treta.
Now Kalyug is this kind of infection that has infested everything, air , water ,sky, earth. When this infection is everywhere. This is the most painful state with the example of a tree. When these insects have infested every root, every leaf, every branch of the Tree, These insects have covered the tree in this manner, that the tree has lost its individuality. Now the tree is at the mercy of these harmful insects, these insects control every aspect of this tree, this is a very sad state, but the tree and its branches and its leaves have no idea of it. This state is Kalyug, I and you cannot understand kalyug cause, we are all infested with this disease called Kalyug. The food is toxic and impure that none of us realize, even the water we drink, the air we breathe, is infested by kalyug which we never understand. Though in some shastra it is said that five elements are nitya. That they can never be polluted or infested by anything. But look carefully how the air, water , soil ,even fire and space is polluted, have they remained the same ? Because Yug is that disease which can infect everything. And in the siddha sutras, it is said not just elements, but even time or kaal is also infested in this kalyug. Remember time is subjective and objective at the same time, for an example when we wait for something or are sitting in an uncomfortable place the time appears to be too long. While we do what we love, the time passes very quickly. Though the time is the same. The worst situation of time is kalyug and that worst situation has surrounded us all today. In this polluted cesspool of unhealthy and worst state. We are also unhealthy and sad. And to understand what is this cesspool of unhealthy and worst state. We have to first know what is a healthy state but to experience this it is difficult, as we have almost no option or situation. To experience the same, cause Kalyug is not only on this planet but all across the universe, at this moment. That means the sun and the stars. Everything is today in the state of kalyug, a very strange, sad, and worrisome situation.
That is why in satya yug, the seekers of the future were worried, that what will happen of humans in this kind of cesspool in kalyug, even in dwapar and treta they were worried but somehow we have come in that cesspool everyone was worried. According to puranas kalyug is an individual, who live in only four places. So is the rest of the world, free from kalyug ?
According to siddhas no. They say it is a cesspool which has infested everything, not just you and I are in pain but everything, the animals, the trees, even the water , earth , air, space and fire are in the same state.
To get out of this state is very complicated. But at the same time, it doesn't mean that we cannot be free from this disease ? There are ways to free ourselves from this cesspool. But first you need to understand from a right master, what exactly is this infection ? how it affects our food, our water , our body and even our mind, our mentality ? Maybe there is no time as bad as this even though this is the smallest of all yugas. It is like that because in this kalyug, the whole planet is like a zombie planet, which wants to bite and infest those few who are still sane and human. Those few are those who even in this kalyug look towards spirituality, think deeper and are still curious. The strange thing is that, even after being so surrounded by these zombies, we few are still alive. look at everyone around you. From those who run the government, law and enforcement agency, media they are all zombies. You can predict how they will act and what they will eat. There are also dharmic zombies but us few siddhas who are there must survive. See zombies hate sanskar. For us sanskar is the last and most valuable treasure of our life. Maybe these sanskars can only save you from zombies, so if you're not infested by zombies yet, please save yourself. Sorry to use zombies as an analogy but this was for better understanding.
